Senior Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead high‑quality audit engagements for a client focused on public‑interest outcomes. You will work within a diverse audit team, receive support for professional qualifications and develop both technical and leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Supervise and coach junior team members on‑site, fostering their technical development.
• Collaborate with senior managers, directors and partners to deliver robust audit opinions.
• Apply UK and International GAAS, IFRS and UK GAAP standards to audit planning and execution.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti‑money‑laundering controls.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified (or overseas equivalent).
• Proven experience supervising and coaching junior auditors.
• Strong knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with advisory considerations, regulation and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
• Commercial awareness of current economic and market trends.
