Senior Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Oxford office, delivering high‑quality audit and assurance services to our diverse client base. The role involves leading audit engagements, preparing statutory accounts and tax computations, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, managing budgets and timelines.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and corporation tax computations.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of accounting standards and legislation.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA or ACA.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience within a UK practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for partnerships, companies and sole traders.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and tax regulations.
• Proactive attitude with high personal integrity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of audit methodology, financial reporting and corporation tax computation.
