Senior Building Surveyor – Hybrid, up to £75k

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a respected multi‑disciplinary consultancy that delivers impactful social housing, residential and public sector projects across South East England. The role offers hybrid working, allowing you to split your time between the office and site visits while managing a varied portfolio of refurbishment, improvement and asset programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts and drive project delivery for refurbishment and improvement schemes.
• Conduct building, condition and defect surveys, including dilapidations and technical reporting.
• Develop and manage planned works and asset improvement programmes.
• Prepare specifications, tender documentation and provide client advisory on housing stock and public buildings.
• Maintain direct client contact and mentor junior surveyors as needed.

Required profile

• MRICS qualified or working towards chartered status.
• Experience in building surveying within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Comfortable managing own workload and client relationships.
• Motivated, reliable and eager to progress in a senior capacity.
