Senior Business Analyst – Pega & UCD (SC Cleared)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Pega and User‑Centred Design experience to join our team in Reading, UK. The role is permanent and hybrid, supporting large‑scale transformation programmes within the banking and financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyse and document functional requirements.
• Lead As‑Is/To‑Be workshops and drive business process re‑engineering for complex transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with Pega architects, developers, UX/UI designers and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Analyse data flows, ETL processes, cloud architectures and system integrations to inform solution design.
• Support monetary policy and time‑series data analysis within the financial services domain.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process models and functional documentation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage the product backlog and use JIRA for tracking.
• Identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities, providing innovative recommendations.
• Mentor junior analysts and ensure compliance with banking regulations and governance standards.

Required profile

• Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale business transformation and process re‑engineering programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
