Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

ABPM Recruitment is recruiting, on behalf of a well-known market leader in business services, a Senior Business Development Manager based in Nottingham. The client is active across several business services and values service excellence and customer satisfaction. The role is senior and commercially focused, combining strategic thinking with hands-on business winning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships
• Build a predictable pipeline of qualified revenue opportunities
• Enter new markets, form partnerships and identify high-value target accounts
• Define targets for the strategic big picture and support long-term company growth

Required profile

• Proven track record in senior business development or commercial roles
• Strong experience in retail, retail supply chains or related sectors
• Demonstrated success winning and managing large or strategic accounts focused on long-term revenue growth
• Exceptional interpersonal and executive communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially astute, results-driven and self-motivated
• Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel nationally as required
