Senior Business Manager / Business Director

About the role

Hays is looking for an ambitious Senior Business Manager / Business Director to lead the placement of senior interim finance professionals across Bristol and Bath. You will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance Directors and executive teams, delivering high‑value interim talent during periods of transformation, growth and restructuring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture senior stakeholder relationships within the finance sector.
• Drive business development and client engagement to generate new interim finance assignments.
• Provide consultative, commercially‑aware advice to senior finance leaders.
• Negotiate and influence placement terms to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and candidates.
• Deliver recruitment solutions that meet the strategic objectives of client organisations.
