Senior Buyer – Alcohol Wholesale

About the role

Enzo Wholesale Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to lead the sourcing and purchasing of alcoholic beverages for its North London cash‑and‑carry operation. You will be responsible for building strong supplier relationships, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring a profitable, compliant product range.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and select wines, beers, spirits and other alcoholic products from distilleries, breweries, wineries and distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, exclusivity deals and delivery schedules to secure best margins.
• Decide product assortment, manage product lifecycle, and introduce new launches while delisting slow‑moving items.
• Monitor industry trends, consumer demand and competitor pricing to spot emerging categories.
• Forecast demand, coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure all purchases comply with alcohol regulations, duty requirements and licensing laws.
• Maintain long‑term supplier partnerships and represent the company at trade shows and tasting events.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Deep knowledge of wine regions, beer styles and spirit categories.
• Ability to analyse data and produce accurate forecasts.
• Experience managing supplier relationships in the alcohol sector.
• Understanding of UK alcohol regulations and duty structures.
