Senior Buyer – Power Tools

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Buyer for power tools to join a well‑established, medium‑sized retail organisation in Essex. This strategic position will drive procurement activities, ensuring the right products are available at the right price.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, particularly with Far East partners, to guarantee timely delivery of quality products.
• Conduct market analysis to spot trends and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with key suppliers to secure best value.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to meet demand.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve procurement processes.
• Support the retail department with strategic purchasing decisions.
