Senior Care Assistant (Bank) – Flexible Part‑Time

About the role
This is a casual, part‑time bank position offering flexible working in a Barchester care home. You will support residents’ individual needs while delivering person‑centred, high‑quality care.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
- Provide clinical support in areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
- Ensure the dignity, preferences and wellbeing of each resident are respected at all times.
- Cover shifts for annual leave, sick leave or other staffing gaps as required.
- Contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant home environment.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
- Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to delivering individualised care.
- Willingness to develop through ongoing training and career progression.
