Senior Care Assistant – Day Shift (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join Glenholme Senior Living at Thimbleby Court as a Senior Care Assistant on the day shift. You will support residents to live with dignity, independence and a sense of belonging, while mentoring junior care staff throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred care, encouraging independence and choice for each resident.
• Mentor and support care staff on the floor, ensuring high standards of practice.
• Manage medication administration and maintain accurate care records.
• Complete audits, update care plans and lead by example in delivering quality care.
• Collaborate with families to keep them informed and involved in the resident’s care journey.

Required profile

• Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Passionate, hardworking and able to think quickly in a dynamic care environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a friendly and reassuring demeanor.

Required skills

• Medication management and administration.
