Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Cancer Care

About the role
This part‑time senior position supports oncology and haematology patients across NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Based at University Hospital Crosshouse, the pharmacist will work within both inpatient and outpatient settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer teams regionally.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, manage and evaluate a specialised clinical oncology pharmacy service.
- Provide non‑medical prescribing within a defined clinical area.
- Participate in the safe delivery of systemic anti‑cancer therapies.
- Contribute to clinical governance and national specialist groups.
- Support research initiatives and advanced practice development.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in oncology pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to driving change and improving service quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
