Senior CMM Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a Senior CMM Inspector to join a well‑established engineering company in Maidstone. The role is fully autonomous, allowing you to manage your own workload while ensuring the highest quality of machined components.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect machined components to verify compliance with specifications.
• Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional verification.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all shop‑floor quality issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage daily workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality inspection of machined components.
• Hands‑on experience operating and programming CMM machines.
• Desire to work in a senior, autonomous role within a stable engineering environment.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, days only.
