Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst – Loans

About the role

As a Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst – Loans at Tesco Bank, you will analyse the external lending market and competitive landscape to define pricing strategies that balance profitability with volume growth. You will monitor performance through monthly financial reviews, assessing profit drivers, variances, and the impact of pricing decisions on business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to understand competitive dynamics and identify pricing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain pricing models for loan products, ensuring profitability while staying competitive.
• Perform monthly financial reviews, analysing profit drivers, variances and pricing impact.
• Support new product launches and strategic initiatives with data‑driven insights.
• Produce visualisations and reports using Power BI and other tools for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting complex data.
• Commercial acumen and understanding of how pricing decisions affect profitability, risk and customer outcomes.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders, including Directors and Managing Directors.
• Previous experience in financial services, preferably within lending or pricing environments.
