Senior Control System Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Control System Engineer to join a well‑established industrial system integrator serving the Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities and Manufacturing sectors. You will lead the design, integration and validation of complex control systems, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve system architectures, designs and detailed specifications.
• Manage overall system integration, performance, compatibility and compliance.
• Lead system testing, validation and commissioning at client sites.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, design specs, test plans and operator manuals.
• Translate client requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications.
• Facilitate technical discussions, resolve issues and mentor the engineering team.
• Coordinate resource tracking, budgeting and timesheet authorisation.
• Maintain client relationships, lead project meetings and support the bidding process.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in control systems engineering within industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and project management.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with software, hardware, workshop and project management teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
