About the role
As a Senior Data Analyst you will play a leading role in the People Analytics team at Checkout.com. The mission is to enable data‑driven people decisions across the organisation, from the executive team to individual managers.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full product development lifecycle for stakeholder groups, from requirements gathering to pipeline development, Looker delivery and enablement.
- Conduct advanced analytics to explain past events, uncover root causes and anticipate future trends.
- Design, build and deploy AI‑powered data products, delivering production‑grade solutions on the cloud‑native stack.
- Drive data fluency through demos, documentation, training and self‑service tooling.
- Maintain data quality and documentation, contributing to continuous improvement of pipelines and semantic layers.
Required profile
- Proven experience owning end‑to‑end data products for business stakeholders.
- Track record of translating ambiguous business questions into scoped, deliverable solutions.
- Significant experience as a data analyst within a team that follows established data‑engineering practices.
- Strong communication skills, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
Required skills
- SQL (experience with BigQuery or comparable cloud data warehouse)
- dbt for production data transformation code
- Looker, Tableau or Power BI for dashboard and reporting
