As the Deputy Head of Corporate Services, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and operational excellence of the North East Probation Region. You will support the Head of Corporate Services in driving high-quality service delivery, ensuring robust governance, and managing a complex corporate portfolio across 16 business units and approximately 1,350 employees.

Missions principales

• Provide senior operational leadership and act as the primary decision-maker in the absence of the Head of Corporate Services.
• Strengthen governance and assurance frameworks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Oversee a diverse corporate portfolio including real estate, facilities management, security, and regional projects.
• Manage complex budgets and exercise delegated financial authority in accordance with MoJ regulations.
• Lead risk management strategies and coordinate comprehensive audit processes.
• Supervise workforce planning, recruitment, and the implementation of HR policies.
• Drive a culture of high performance and inclusion across the regional service.

Profil recherché

• Proven track record in senior corporate services management within a public sector or highly complex operational environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage high-level stakeholders and complex escalations.
• Exceptional analytical skills for reporting, briefing, and strategic decision-making.
