Senior Director – Strategic Communications

About the role

Hotwire is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Strategic Communications practice in the UK. You will manage a portfolio of high‑value tech clients, act as a trusted advisor on complex PR challenges, and drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior strategic lead for Hotwire UK’s communications offering, setting standards for quality, creativity and commercial rigour.
• Act as day‑to‑day senior client lead for 5–7 key accounts, building deep relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Own the commercial performance of the portfolio, including scoping, pricing, resource utilisation and profitability.
• Develop and execute integrated, data‑driven communications campaigns that deliver measurable impact.
• Contribute to Hotwire’s market profile by winning new business and raising the standard of strategic communications across the UK team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading strategic communications for technology brands.
• Track record of managing multi‑million‑dollar client portfolios and delivering profitable outcomes.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build senior‑level relationships.
• Demonstrated business development capability and thought‑leadership in the PR sector.
