Senior EC&I Engineer – Electrical, Control & Instrumentation

About the role

As a Senior EC&I Engineer you will lead the design of electrical, control and instrumentation systems for a range of external client projects. You will work closely with internal and external engineering teams to deliver robust solutions for remote handling, machinery controls, safety circuits and low‑voltage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics, hook‑up diagrams and design documentation using electrical CAD tools.
• Lead risk assessments and hazard analyses for all assigned projects.
• Support physical commissioning, in‑house testing and on‑site validation activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on system design, safety circuits, distributed I/O and LV/ELV systems.
• Demonstrated ability to design for complex machinery such as remote handling equipment, robotics and motion‑control systems.
• Hands‑on experience using electrical CAD software (e.g., Trimble Amtech, PAScal, SEE).
