Senior Electrical Contracts Manager

About the role

Join a well‑established, privately owned electrical contractor in Derby as a Senior Electrical Contracts Manager. You will own the delivery of electrical building‑services projects from pre‑construction through to handover, ensuring they meet time, cost, quality and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical contracts across commercial, industrial and public‑sector projects.
• Oversee project delivery from design coordination to final handover.
• Lead and support site teams, including Project Managers and Supervisors.
• Maintain client relationships and attend regular progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal procedures.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgets, variations and forecasts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Manager or Contracts Manager in building services.
• Strong background working for an electrical contractor.
• Experience delivering medium to large‑scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Excellent knowledge of UK electrical building‑services regulations.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and commercial awareness.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or degree in Electrical or Building Services).
