Senior Employment Associate – London

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Employment Associate to join a top‑tier employment team in London. The role involves providing comprehensive advice to employer clients across a wide range of employment law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day employment queries including disciplinaries, grievances, contracts, policies, flexible working, maternity rights and discrimination issues.
• Support larger projects such as restructures, redundancies and transactional matters including M&A, divestments, outsourcings and TUPE due diligence.
• Advise on global mobility, covering employment, immigration and tax aspects of long‑term employee relocations.
• Deliver reward‑related advice on employment tax, cash plans, incentives, shares, options and other employee reward structures.
• Coordinate international employment support, managing advice from single‑country matters to global projects.

Required profile

• 5–8 years post‑qualification experience in an employment law team.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, take responsibility for output and interact directly with clients.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers.
• Preferably experience acting for employer clients on both advisory and litigation matters.
