Senior Employment Lawyer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer to join a respected law firm in the Greater Preston area. The role offers a hybrid working model with at least two days a week in the office and provides a competitive salary and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
• Draft and review employment contracts, service agreements and staff handbooks.
• Handle redundancies, restructures, TUPE transfers and settlement agreements.
• Manage grievances, conduct issues, disciplinaries and employment tribunal proceedings.
• Support clients through employment law compliance across a range of sectors.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience handling a varied caseload of employment law matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client‑focused with strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership when required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Employment law expertise (contracts, redundancies, TUPE, tribunals, etc.).

What we offer

• Salary between £60,000 and £85,000 per year.
