About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner will support a leading veterinary industry client within the life‑science sector, providing financial insight and guidance to drive strategic decisions. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis and ensuring efficient processes to help the organisation achieve its goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead financial planning and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and targets.
• Develop and improve financial models for business planning.
• Support the preparation of management reports and presentations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.

What we offer

• Salary range £75,000 – £83,500 per year, dependent on experience.
• Hybrid working arrangement.
• 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
