Senior Financial Controller – Music Industry (London, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading organisation at the heart of the music industry. This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape finance operations, drive transformation and work closely with the CFO and Board.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial integrity, including month, quarter and year‑end close.
• Manage balance‑sheet governance, statutory and regulatory reporting, and audit readiness.
• Oversee cash and working‑capital management.
• Lead a small finance team and deputise for the Finance Director.
• Present financial performance and strategic insights to Board and Executive committees.
• Contribute to the finance transformation agenda, including new systems and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven senior controllership experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and UK tax.
• Track record of leading high‑performing teams.
• Credibility when interacting with Board members and senior stakeholders.
