Senior Financial Planning Administrator

About the role

Capio Recruitment Financial Planning is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join its close‑knit team in Horsham. Working alongside Chartered Financial Planners, you will ensure a seamless client experience by handling the administrative side of the planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior administrative support to Chartered Financial Planners and the wider client services team.
• Produce clear, accurate, and personalised post‑review meeting letters.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service.
• Process client instructions such as investments, withdrawals, deposits and trading requests.
• Prepare new business applications and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with providers to obtain information and respond to client enquiries.
• Maintain accurate client records and workflows using Xplan.
• Assist with client onboarding, ongoing administration and deceased client cases.
• Manage adviser email inboxes when required and ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Financial Planning or Wealth Management administration.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning administration.
• Experience supporting Financial Advisers throughout the planning process.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Customer‑focused, professional and compassionate approach.
• CII qualifications (or currently studying for them) preferred.

Required skills

• Xplan or a similar back‑office CRM system.
