About the role

StepStone Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong back‑end focus to join its Profile domain product team. You will work across both back‑end and front‑end codebases, delivering end‑to‑end features for a global job platform.

Key responsibilities

Design, build and evolve scalable back‑end services using C# and .NET Core.
Develop front‑end features with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
Design and implement high‑performance, secure RESTful APIs.
Build, deploy and operate services in AWS using Docker and Infrastructure as Code.
Contribute to solution and architecture design while reducing technical debt.
Collaborate with Product, QA and engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

Expertise in C#/.NET Core, MVC, and REST API design.
Deep knowledge of AWS, micro‑services, CQRS, event‑driven and message‑based architectures.
Strong front‑end experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and build tools like Webpack.
Hands‑on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Docker containers.
Proficiency in DevOps tools (Bamboo, TeamCity, Octopus), IaC (Terraform), observability (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch) and automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Cypress, Playwright).
