Senior Full Stack Engineer – Java & AWS

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic team in Leeds. You will design, develop and maintain high‑quality Java and AWS‑based solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days on‑site each week.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, high‑performance Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Design, implement and optimise AWS services such as ECR/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions and Apigee.
• Develop front‑end features with AngularJS and Typescript.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Docker and CloudFormation.
• Write automated tests with Karate, Gherkin and Cypress.
• Provide L3/on‑call support for production services.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot and AWS cloud services.
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification (or higher) is mandatory; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and modern DevOps tooling.
