Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java & React / Javascript / Angular)

About the role

Join a dynamic Agile team that builds technology to help researchers publish high‑quality scientific work. As a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer you will create capabilities that support the research submission process and evolve the platform with emerging technologies, including AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud‑hosted distributed applications for the next‑generation product.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide rapid feedback.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure stability and performance.
• Identify and implement enhancements to improve delivery processes.
• Partner with cross‑functional Agile and DevOps teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Java and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular).
• Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to mentor team members.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and version control (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud environments, containerisation, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
• Commitment to test‑driven development, monitoring, and logging best practices.
