Senior Group Accountant

About the role

We are supporting a global engineering leader in the search for a Senior Group Accountant to join their expanding Group Finance function. This role offers the chance to own a complex multinational consolidation process within a fast‑paced, private‑equity‑backed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group consolidation process and month‑end close activities.
• Review and oversee the work of the Group Accountant.
• Own consolidation eliminations, intercompany balances and Group recharges.
• Act as the Group SME for OneStream consolidation software.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Internal Audit and site finance teams globally.
• Drive financial control improvements and process efficiencies.
• Support investor reporting, lender reporting and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting background with IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP exposure.
• Previous consolidation experience within industry or practice.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in a complex international organisation.
