Senior HR Advisor – Employee Relations & Compliance

About the role

As a Senior HR Advisor you will partner with managers across the business to resolve complex people matters and shape a positive, compliant, high‑performing workplace. You will act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, employment law and HR best practice within a respected professional services organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to managers on employee relations cases and policies.
• Support redundancy, restructuring and redeployment processes.
• Ensure HR practices remain compliant with current UK employment legislation.
• Maintain accurate payroll information and records.
• Contribute to HR projects, including system improvements and diversity initiatives.
• Monitor HR data and recommend improvements that support business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong employee‑relations case management experience.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience in a professional services environment such as legal, financial services or accountancy.
• Ability to coach and advise managers on complex people matters.
• Experience supporting organisational change and HR projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Understanding of HR policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with payroll processes.
