Senior Human Resources Advisor

About the role

Shape people practices across VPZ’s growing UK retail network as a Senior HR Advisor. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide expert HR advice and support across a multi‑site retail environment, focusing on employee relations, employment law compliance, manager coaching, organisational change and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
• Support organisational change, consultation processes and restructuring activities.
• Liaise with Occupational Health and external advisors, and support employment tribunal preparation and risk management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR advisory and employee relations within a multi‑site retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to coach and influence managers at all levels.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
