Senior Information Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Information Manager to lead the development and implementation of digital and BIM information management processes across our defence nuclear construction projects. You will champion lean, innovative digital ways of working, ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards, and govern the Common Data Environment (CDE) to support efficient project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with information control, document control, and IMS functions.
• Develop and embed digital/BIM information management processes and practices.
• Facilitate adoption of lean, innovative digital workflows to eliminate duplication and waste.
• Own the governance of the Common Data Environment (CDE) and align project teams with ISO 19650 requirements.
• Manage the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and coordinate scheme‑level Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs).
• Provide leadership and guidance on information delivery requirements.
• Maintain digital content within the Information Management System (IMS) to support business‑wide digital working.
• Collaborate with production and supply‑chain teams to define information delivery and process requirements.
• Develop relationships with digital stakeholders, suppliers, and manage site data & quality collection systems.
• Produce and deploy business‑unit reporting.

Required profile

• Professional qualification, ideally to degree level, in an engineering or building discipline.
• Proven experience in information management on design and construction projects.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM Execution Plans.
• Experience delivering and governing Master and Task Information Delivery Plans.
