Senior Intelligence Assessment Trainer

About the role
The Defence Intelligence Academy is seeking a senior professional to deliver and develop its flagship all‑source intelligence assessment training. You will join a small team of educators responsible for the Intelligence Assessment Programme, supporting both civilian and military analysts across the UK and allied partners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Defence Intelligence Analysis Module (DIAM) and related assessment briefings to a diverse audience.
- Maintain and update training standards, curricula and supporting materials.
- Assist with the management and strategic planning of the Intelligence Assessment College.
- Design and facilitate additional analysis workshops, including overseas capacity‑building courses.
- Research emerging training needs and contribute to future course development.
- Build and sustain relationships with UK and US intelligence organisations and other relevant bodies.
- Travel to other UK sites and, where required, internationally.
Required profile
- Experienced intelligence analyst with a strong background in all‑source assessment.
- Proven ability to teach complex analytical techniques to senior staff.
- High level of professionalism, motivation and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small, multidisciplinary team.
