Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Group Audit function of a diversified multinational group. Based in London and reporting to the Group Senior Internal Audit Manager, the role involves travelling up to 30% of the time to support operations across Europe, the US, Africa and South‑East Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements covering financial and operational areas in line with the approved audit methodology.
• Prepare clear audit reports, present findings to the audit committee and follow up on remediation actions.
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend improvements and add value to the overall control environment.
• Contribute to audit committee papers and presentations.
• Participate in special projects outside the regular audit plan as required.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience of both financial and operational internal audits.
• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Background in a complex in‑house audit function or a risk advisory team within a Top‑10/Big‑4 firm.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model (three days per week in the London office).
