Senior Landscape Architect

About the role

A growing landscape architecture and urban design practice, formed through a long-standing partnership with an established project management consultancy, is recruiting an experienced Senior Landscape Architect. The role sits close to the practice lead, combining hands-on design with leadership responsibilities, and offers the chance to help shape the practice's growth and, in the longer term, to acquire shares in the business.

The practice is already working on a pipeline of high-profile projects and aims to expand into ecology and arboriculture. The position is based in Central London, in a collaborative office near Borough station.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the practice lead on a variety of unique and groundbreaking projects
• Deliver pre-planning masterplanning for a major new UK visitor destination
• Produce post-planning detailed design for a new research and development campus with a strong environmental focus
• Contribute to urban planning and design projects from inception to construction

Required profile

• Approximately 6-10 years' professional experience, ideally including some at associate level
• Strong experience across all project stages, from masterplanning to detailed design
• Confidence in client-facing roles and in working with multidisciplinary teams
• A collaborative approach and ambition to help shape the long-term direction of the business
