Senior Lead Architect – Platform Technical Discovery Lead

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is looking for a Senior Lead Architect to drive technical discovery for its Cloud Foundations product family. Based in London, you will shape early‑stage multi‑cloud platform demand, ensure technical feasibility and prepare solutions for deeper architecture and engineering engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the product family in technical governance bodies and propose improvements to architecture governance.
• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors and vendors during demand intake.
• Partner with the Product/Customer Discovery Lead to assess feasibility, estimate ROM and define early solution options.
• Own platform technical integrity at the “front door,” preventing fragmentation, technical debt and risk.
• Leverage enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis while ensuring human‑in‑the‑loop validation.
• Guide evaluation of current and emerging technologies against standards and frameworks.
• Develop and review secure, high‑quality production code and champion firm‑wide SDLC practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture across multiple domains.
• Proven ability to influence technical decisions and drive business impact in financial services.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams, vendors and governance bodies.
