About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to take on a pivotal leadership role within our medical services. Based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, with occasional cross-site coverage across the Clyde area, you will play a key role in driving clinical excellence and operational efficiency during a period of organizational transformation.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide strategic nursing leadership for the Medical Reception Unit, medical services, day bed areas, and the Clinical Nurse Specialist service.
• Oversee the smooth operational functioning of multiple clinical units to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Lead and inspire nursing teams, fostering a culture of empowerment, compassion, and professional accountability.
• Balance patient needs and staff well-being with key performance indicators (KPIs) and strict budgetary requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and navigate clinical transformation activities effectively.
• Ensure positive engagement and communication with patients, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team.

• Proven experience in a senior nursing leadership or management position.
