Senior Legal Counsel / Legal Director (UK-qualified Solicitor)

About the role

We are looking for a UK‑qualified solicitor to join Uber Boat by Thames Clippers as a Senior Legal Counsel or Legal Director. Reporting to the General Counsel and Group Company Secretary, you will work within a small, agile legal team supporting a fast‑growing river transport business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on property, construction and infrastructure projects, including pier and land development.
• Support non‑marine compliance, company secretarial duties and commercial contracts across sales, marketing, IT and communications.
• Assist with corporate, M&A, finance and transactional work as the business expands.
• Manage legal budgets, advisor panels and contribute to functional design work.

Required profile

• Mid‑level UK‑qualified solicitor with roughly 5‑8 years post‑qualification experience (candidates outside this range are welcome).
• Strong technical background in property and infrastructure law, preferably with experience in public‑private partnerships and asset management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving operational environment.
