Senior Litigation Associate – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join one of the UK’s leading education litigation practices. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to work on high‑profile disputes for universities, colleges and private education providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload from instruction through to resolution, including student breach of contract, Equality Act, judicial review and consumer law matters.
• Provide strategic advice to senior client stakeholders, balancing legal, commercial and reputational considerations.
• Conduct litigation proceedings, draft pleadings, motions and settlement agreements.
• Engage directly with litigants in person, ensuring clear communication and empathetic handling of claims.
• Collaborate with senior members of the team to develop case strategy and ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in civil litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage complex matters.
• Excellent judgment, communication skills and empathy when dealing with individuals.
