Senior Management Accountant (Ownership of US entity)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to take full ownership of the financial operations for our US business, valued at approximately $20‑25m in revenue, and eventually the Irish operation as well. The role sits at the heart of the finance function, partnering with operational leaders across the USA and Ireland to deliver accurate reporting and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end management accounting for the US and Ireland, ensuring accurate sales and cost of sales accruals.
• Prepare OPEX journal entries, depreciation/amortisation, leasing journals and maintain the fixed asset register.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and take corrective action where required.
• Produce group monthly management accounts and report variances to Group Finance.
• Manage inter‑company transactions and ensure accurate posting worldwide.
• Deliver revenue and margin analysis, support forecasting, budgeting and weekly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Provide commercial finance insight for bids, pricing and strategic decisions.
• Contribute to financial transformation projects, KPI tracking and new system implementations.
• Manage a direct report and support team development.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or final‑year candidate.
• Proven experience in management accounting for a $20‑25m revenue business.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and inter‑company accounting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ability to partner with operational leaders across multiple regions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
