Senior Manager / Associate Director – Accounting & Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to join a high‑growth chartered accountancy practice on the A3 corridor. This newly created, client‑facing position offers a clear pathway to Director within 1‑3 years for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses.
• Provide advisory services across audit, accounting, tax and outsourcing.
• Oversee the audit team, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Liaise directly with clients, partners and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to the firm’s ACA/ACCA training programme and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified senior accountant with strong accounting and audit expertise.
• Ambition to achieve Practising Certificate and RI status.
• Proven experience leading a team in a professional services environment.
• Tech‑savvy, comfortable using modern accounting software.
