About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join a global engineering leader in Bristol. This permanent, hybrid position offers the chance to shape mechanical engineering best practice and lead project teams delivering cutting‑edge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical mechanical engineering expertise across projects, including subsystems and technology development.
• Lead and guide Mechanical Engineering activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Promote and embed best‑practice mechanical engineering to improve time, cost, quality and specification outcomes.
• Maintain effective technical governance for safety, compliance, quality and reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience with design for manufacture principles, focusing on assembly and cost estimation.
• Mechanical or Engineering‑related degree.
• Strong motivation for continuous professional development and growth.
