Senior Medical Advisor – Neurology (UK & Ireland)

About the role

Servier UK is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Medical Advisor to lead the Neurology portfolio for the United Kingdom and Ireland. The role combines scientific excellence, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to medical compliance, acting as the primary scientific expert and a bridge between the clinical community and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the UK and Ireland medical affairs strategy for Neurology, translating global strategies into local initiatives such as data generation and scientific communication.
• Provide medical expertise to cross‑functional teams and support market access, regulatory, and phase III/IV studies in line with the ABPI Code.
• Coordinate local evidence generation, oversee investigator‑sponsored studies, and manage medical education programmes for the assigned product.
• Lead national scientific discussions with Therapy Area Experts and ensure compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice.
• Gather early insights on emerging disease areas to inform company strategy and support the planning of national phase 3b, Phase IV and non‑interventional studies.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (MD or PharmD) with a Bachelor’s degree in a related medical or scientific field.
• Minimum 4‑5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 1‑2 years as a medical advisor or final signatory.
• Strong clinical background or direct experience in Neurology and thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, networking, and project‑management skills with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work on‑site at the head office three days per week.
