Senior Medication Safety Pharmacy Technician – Remote

About the role
The NHS is seeking a Senior Specialist Pharmacy Technician to lead medication safety initiatives at a national level. This fixed‑term, remote position offers the opportunity to influence policy, support quality improvement, and ensure accurate resource information on the SPS website.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive medication safety projects.
- Support and monitor quality improvement initiatives across the NHS.
- Maintain and verify the accuracy of medication safety resources on the SPS website.
- Provide expert advice on best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Report progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Diploma in pharmacy (or equivalent qualification).
- Significant experience in pharmacy practice, preferably within the NHS.
- Proven project‑management experience, including delivery of complex initiatives.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.

What we offer
- Salary range £39,959 – £48,117 per annum (pro rata).
- Remote working flexibility.
- Fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2027.
