Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

Checkout.com is on a mission to transform the shopping experience for millions of consumers. As a senior individual contributor in mobile, you’ll help design and build the products we put in the hands of our end users.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build mobile experiences used directly by millions of consumers worldwide.
• Own feature development end‑to‑end, from discovery through development, monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure underlying systems support mobile product evolution.
• Champion best practices such as testing, monitoring and release strategy to strengthen foundations.
• Mentor peers, review code and contribute to the long‑term technical vision for mobile at Checkout.com.

Required profile

• Solid background in mobile technologies (native iOS, native Android or React Native).
• Proven track record building scalable, high‑performance consumer experiences on mobile.
• Experience delivering and maintaining mobile apps or SDKs for a large, active user base.
• Passion for developer experience, clear APIs, great documentation and reliability at scale.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with product, design and backend teams.
