Senior Mobile QA Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mobile QA Engineer will own end‑to‑end product quality for iVerify’s iOS and Android applications, the APIs they consume, and the supporting data pipelines. Working closely with the engineering team within sprint cycles, you will partner with product and research to design test plans, uncover edge cases, and ensure secure, reliable releases. You act as the final gate before any mobile release, guaranteeing flawless performance across complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans for iOS and Android apps, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across ETL pipelines and integrations.
• Perform exploratory and regression testing to identify edge cases and catch bugs early.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and defect reports.
• Collaborate with Mobile, Server, and research teams to ensure consistent quality standards.
• Test RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, verifying endpoints and responses.
• Work with developers and product managers to triage defects, reproduce issues, and drive fast resolution.

Required profile

• 6+ years of Mobile QA experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong background in manual testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Postman.
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL validation, and structured data formats (JSON, CSV, SQL).
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and validating backend data.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to work across multiple teams and manage QA scope for large releases.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced environment and prioritising multiple programs.
