Senior National Account Manager – Retail

About the role

THG’s Myprotein brand is looking for a Senior National Account Manager to lead its UK grocery business. You will own a high‑value portfolio, drive profitability and shape the B2B retail strategy for one of the world’s largest sports‑nutrition brands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of UK grocery accounts, delivering profitability, customer satisfaction and growth targets.
• Develop and own commercial objectives, joint business plans and promotional calendars for each account.
• Negotiate with buyers to secure optimal distribution levels, fixture space and SKU placement.
• Assess product mix, recommend cost‑optimised SKUs and drive profitability improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (commercial, technical, product development) across a matrix environment.
• Maintain forecast accuracy, work with demand planners and support the company’s financial planning cycle.
• Conduct annual account reviews and contribute to budgeting for the upcoming year.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing national grocery accounts in a B2B retail environment.
• Strong P&L ownership with a track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills at multiple stakeholder levels.
• Ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting and joint business planning.
