Senior Oracle Developer

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation in the financial sector, is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to strengthen its large‑scale information systems team. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining robust Oracle PL/SQL solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise Oracle PL/SQL code for high‑volume, mission‑critical applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing database objects, procedures, packages and triggers.
• Implement and support configuration management processes for database artefacts.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning and troubleshooting of database issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Proven experience working on large‑scale information systems.
• Strong understanding of configuration management concepts.
• Experience in the financial industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
