Senior Paraplanner – Godalming, Surrey

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a well‑established independent financial advisory firm in Godalming. You will work closely with a team of advisers, providing end‑to‑end paraplanning support for high‑net‑worth clients across a broad range of financial planning areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical research and analysis across financial planning cases.
• Prepare detailed suitability reports and recommendations.
• Support advice relating to pensions, investments and retirement planning.
• Assist with tax planning and inheritance tax strategies.
• Carry out product and provider research.
• Produce cash‑flow modelling reports and financial planning projections.
• Liaise with advisers and administrators to ensure efficient case progression.
• Support clients with increasingly complex financial planning requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a paraplanning role.
• Diploma qualified, working towards completion, or qualified through experience.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning, tax planning and inheritance tax planning.
• Experience writing suitability reports independently.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
