About the role
We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer / Lead to own enterprise‑level BI and data visualisation solutions. The role is strategic and hands‑on, delivering high‑performance reporting with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and modern data architecture while driving self‑service adoption and shaping the BI strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimise Power BI dashboards, paginated reports and data models.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solutions using Advanced DAX and star‑schema modelling.
- Partner with stakeholders to refine briefs, ensure data quality and maximise business value.
- Drive self‑service BI adoption and act as a trusted insight advisor.
- Implement performance tuning, row‑level security and governance best practices.
- Contribute to Agile squad delivery, continuous improvement and mentor junior team members.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale Power BI solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn complex data into actionable insight.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to influence BI strategy.
Required skills
- Power BI (Desktop, Service, Report Builder)
- Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Platform
- Advanced DAX and Power Query (M)
- SQL (advanced querying and optimisation)
- Data modelling (star schema, semantic models)
- ETL / data pipelines
- Excel for data preparation
