Senior Print Designer

About the role

Stella McCartney is seeking a Senior Print Designer to lead the creation of print and graphics concepts for its Ready‑to‑Wear collections. Reporting to the Director of Fabric and Embellishment, you will work across all seasons and special projects, ensuring the collections are fashion‑forward and aligned with the brand’s ethical ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Research, direct and design print and graphics concepts for each season and special projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Director to develop overarching creative direction and identify key print trends.
• Work with Merchandising, Product Development, Fabric, Embroidery and Atelier teams to translate designs into production‑ready assets.
• Drive fittings, oversee the development of prints from sketch to prototype, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with product development and fabric teams, providing up‑to‑date design information for factories.
• Travel for trend scouting and comparative research as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in luxury fashion or a related design environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Commercially minded, result‑driven and comfortable working under pressure.
• Strong teamwork, communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and travel when required.
